ANNUAL MEETING – OCTOBER 30, 7 PM @NBCC CAMPUS
You are invited to attend the Annual Meeting to be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at the New Brunswick Community College (Main Campus) in Miramichi, NB located at 80 University Avenue, Miramichi.
Please use the south side entrance where the large parking lot is located. There will be a friendly security guard who will greet you and direct you to the lecture theatre.

The following notice is to keep you up to date with important information concerning the Highland Society of New Brunswick at Miramichi.
SAINT ANDREW’S DAY BANQUET
On behalf of the Society, we are excited to announce that the Banquet will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Newcastle Lion’s Club, Morrison Lane (off of the Old King George Hwy).
The evening will include the Presentation of Scholarships and Educational Grants to students attending Post-Secondary Educational Facilities, new members will be welcomed, and several long-time members will be recognized.
A Silent Auction for the Scottish Heritage Association will offer several interesting items to bid on.
Tickets will soon be available at Scotts Pharmasave (Chatham) and Dickinson’s Pharmasave (Newcastle).
The cost is $25 and must be purchased by Monday, November 24, 2025. Hope to see you there!
ANNUAL ROBBIE BURNS NIGHT
On Friday, January 23, 2026, please come out to the Highland Society of New Brunswick at Miramichi’s Annual Robbie Burns Night!
The event will be taking place at the Miramichi Curling Club, located at 21 Cove Road.
Tickets will be available at the door; no reservations are required. Admission is $10.00 per person.
Curlers and 'would be' curlers should be at the club by 6:30 PM so that Teams can be created.
If you are a 'sometimes' curler or if this is your first time, you will be very welcomed. Cards will start at 7 PM.
There will be a lunch served around 9 PM and of course a little something to warm the curlers when they have the traditional wee sip from the curling trophy. There will be prizes and a trophy presentation to be awarded as well!
